@DontTrustTaxCons He's not just smart, but super nice. I know him, and he's extraordinarily giving for his stature -- he puts on one of, if not THE biggest IM summits in the world. And I learned exactly what I needed to know from this video.

@shakaama I like bitly myself, but they are pretty similar. You could use either for that. If you have a WordPress blog, there is a good plugin called Pretty Link to make short urls from your own domain.

@affiliatetip hey, speaking of free. what do you think about tinyurl? would that work, for spot linking, like if I wanted to add it to a link on a youtube video or something?

and, if i wanted it on my blog or website, as well.

@shakaama just a method to shorten and/or hide affiliate links, since they are usually rather long, and some people don't care to click on affiliate links.
