This might be interesting if she wasn't reading the Wikipedia article on Marilyn Miller. In spite of her listing of sources, the whole thing is from Wikipedia. She also pronounces Florenz incorrectly. And Irving Berlin. Sad commentary that she doesn't know Irving Berlin. I would have flunked this student.

I read a book,

"The Other Marilyn" several years ago, about Marilyn MIller. What a messed up, manipulated girl! Bless her heart.

It's wonderful that this woman's life and death was worthy of being made known to us all. But for goodness sake,young lady, get some speech lessons. It's not a matter of your voice containing some regeional accent. That's perfectly fine. However, your prononunciation and diction are terrrible. It's hard to even understand you. Hasn't anybody who cares about you told you this? Incidentally, it's Irving Ber LIN, (like in Germany) not BER lin !

it is said , and reported that Marilyn one day, while walking on fifth ave, said to a friend, and pointed to a red dress in a store window, that that was the dress she would be buried in..a prophetic thing to say, as she died not that much later.Her star burned brilliantly, and still burns.
