I can understand what you felt. I think parents should seek psychiatric help for themselves and their kid as soon as he starts noticing he is different from his friends! I believe very few parents can cope with this alone! My questions were why I am different and why me? Why did God do this to me? Some years back, seeking spirituality, self growth, God or however you prefer to name it, a new book began in my life. Seek for answers! Not the ones doctors can give you!

Great video that you did for your health project. I am 39 with KT on the right leg, right buttock, right side of my abdomen, right side of my back and right breast area. Lighter PWS on my right arm that darkens when I get hot. My leg on the other hand gets darker when I am cold, as it has the deep purple PWS. Emotionally growing up it was hard, because some kids can be so cruel.

I have KT in my right leg as a girl having kt was always an issue in the summer because heat and humidity makes the veins swollen and painful. The social part is well; going swimming in the summer, I don't want to be seen in a bathing suit, one leg being twice the size of the other.
