1958..A midnite drive from Philly to Virginia....listened to Gleason album all the way....still can't forget it.

This melody is Once in a While, not Someone to Watch Over Me. Makes no difference, this music is so lovely, and Jackie Gleason Orchestra olays the kind of soft dreamy music I like. Thanks for sharing.

@1947carlton Bobby hackett did a lot of Dixieland jazz work over the years! I think he was one of the top cornet players of all time. He had the sweetest sound even when playing up-tempo jazz.

Bobby Hackett's trumpet/coronet(?) is the delicious icing on this melody. His instrument sounds like it becomes part of him.
