This is a four part tutorial showing the uses of
the 3D Studio MAX procutter tool and booleans.

The first two parts will demonstrate how to break up a wall
and maintain its texture on a basic level.

The last two parts will demonstrate how to use the fracture
reactor constraint within reactor and simulate an impact on the wall.

  • I use boxes to cut this mesh I made on 3ds max, my problem is, once it is cut, the boxes and planes still remain there AND merge with my mesh. How do I fix this?

  • merci pour cette video

  • @charginmahlob I am trying to cut a basketball in half using the procutter tool and the texture wraps arount the cut plane and distorts on the basketball. is there a way to cut it in half resulting in two objects without messing up the texture?

  • Would you get to the goddamn point! Fuck, this video is terrible. Stop talking and start teaching!

  • When I cut my object, the sections come up as through smoothed and they look ugly, how do i prevent this?
