Do you always have to go back for the FILL after the lap band? what is the fill for??

Not always but it's VERY rare that someone doesn't get a fill. Getting a fill tightens the band so that you eat less.

I drink water or flavored water and eat mushies the first two days after a fill... so.. cottage cheese, that kind of thing.

Excellent video lady thank ya for posting it. I have seen the actual lap band procedure, but hadn't seen a fill yet. I'm more nervous about the fills than I am the surgery!
