Moita Flores: Another spin from the McCanns

Moita Flores Interview on Sic (3'42''):The new sketch released by the McCann "is just another spin, a make-up to keep the case alive and reinforce the innocence of the parents", criminologist Moita Flores told today to a Portuguese news channel, SIC. "It is manipulation and propaganda, from the (McCann) group, which has done the same before, to innocent people", he said. Questioned about similarities between the cases of Mari Luz and Madeleine, Moita Flores said that "the only thing similar was the fact that both children vanished." Among many differences, he pointed to the fact that "Mari Luz parents never abandoned her, as the McCann did with their children."

This report by sky news is misleading, this woman did not see the "creepy man" on the day of Madeleine's dissapearance. Nice one Clarrie but more spin i fear.

Yes, you're right. Gail Cooper stated to have seen this man, allegedly in three different instances in April before Madeleine's disappearance. This woman gave her statement to the PJ, which was discard after a proper police investigation. The News was picked up again by N.O.T.W. tabloid afeter 9 months. there is a case of an american woman who shot her 2 daughters she then made up a story about a "bushy hair,unkempt stranger" who shot the kids.when it was actually the mother who shot them..the police refered to the man as a classic BHS..(bushy hair stranger) just like the BHS in the mccann photofit..its easy to conjour up a frightening figure to divert attention from the real perpetrator
