Raw footage shot during the filming of the instructional DVD "Pentatonic Concepts". The groove is at 100bpm, notes confined to minor pentatonic only, and nothing is played faster than 16th notes for instructional purposes.

Improvised and played "direct" into the board. Instructional note: Observe slow movement from box to box, which then moves more fluidly as improv progresses.

Recorded at Eastern Kentucky University, early 2007.

  • Thanx, everyone!!!

  • Thanx for the kind words. Checks are in the mail (hahaha!).

The guitar is my customized guitar from Halo (the model is no longer in production) loaded with a DiMarzio Evos (thanx to Steve at DiMarzio). I'll be donating it to charity auction in 2009.

The jam was fun to do!
