Here you have the intro to "Bergerac" TV series, with very good sound.
I downloaded it around 1999. It had the legend "courtesy by Bomb FM".
I saw this intro with good sound was not available yet in Youtube, so here you have it. I put three images with the music, no video.
Before you ask, no, I don't have the outro, sorry.
Regards from Barcelona.

  • This sounds like the ending credits music from the original 1981 series. Good to hear it again;-)

  • Ahhhhhhhhhhhh !!

  • Music gives me goosebumps.

  • loved the theme and loved bergerac. Nettles was the man i wanted to be when I grew up... now he is Tom Barnaby perhaps not :-) respect to John Nettles tho, the stinging detective !

  • They should bring Bergerac back.

It would be interesting to see what they could do with the series

  • @TheSecondStain

I agree with you. Can"t say I was a great fan of programme either, but loved the theme music.

Got sick of the setting of the island, as I did with Magnum PI being stuck in Hawaii.

  • great music...always loved this

  • i heard the outro and the beat without the accordion, reminds me slightly to the beat and cords to the Police song "Walking on the Moon"

  • Is this the real original theme, played on the intro to the programme..? It sounds about 99.9% the real thing. Tbh, it's been so long since I've heard the original, one of the slightly later versions could fool me.

Funnily enough, I was never the greatest fan of the series; liked it, but loved the theme.

  • Thanks for posting. I am fairly sure this was the original (and best) theme - before being spoilt by 'jazzing up' for later episodes.
