As many of you know, I've been going to law school pretty much since I started doing these starting grid videos on YouTube. This month marks the end of my final semester of my three-year courseload and, soon after, the start of my preparations for the BAR Exam.
Starting Monday, May 23, I will be ramping up my studies in preparation for the BAR, which will take place from Tuesday, July 26 through Thursday, July 28. For those two months, I will have to really buckle down and make sure I'm prepared for the six three-hour test sessions the BAR demands.
Therefore, the following three things will take place during those weeks:
**The BSGN Starting Grids will continue through the summer, but to save time, I will be using the simpler format I've used in the Gatorade Duels (and for Fontana last month). I also do not plan on having any introductions added to those videos. This will affect the starting grids for the following eight races:
1) Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte
2) STP 400 at Kansas
3) Pocono 500 at Pocono
4) Heluva Good! 400 at Michigan
5) Toyota / Save Mart 350 at Sonoma (subject to change)
6) Coke Zero 400 at Daytona
7) Quaker State 400 at Kentucky
8) Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire
The four races between now and the Coca Cola 600 will NOT be affected and will use the full format (Richmond, Darlington, Dover, and the All-Star Race / Sprint Showdown).
After the off-week, the traditional format will return in time for the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis. This grid may not have an introduction prepared in time, but WILL have the third-annual commercial montage which will be postponed from its traditional spot in the Coke Zero 400.
**I will not be making my weekly appearances on RaceTalkRadio.com for ten weeks, extending from the eight races listed above through the July 23 off-weekend AND the Brickyard 400. This is due to another exam I will be taking the following week. "Barney and Me" will resume for the August Pocono race when I return to the show the following Monday.
**"LASTCAR" will continue its regularly-scheduled postings on all three of NASCAR's top divisions. The articles may or may not be shorter than before, depending on time.
Thank you all for your continued support. Be sure to continue to stay tuned to BSGN this summer and get ready for at least two special videos that will be coming up in August and September!
Can we get someone started on making a commercial collabaration for the july daytona race? that would be awesome cause that's honestly my favoreite part of the Season and i would hate not seeing that from SOMEONE IN JULY.
GOod Luck Brock!

@AntonyBlalock No worries, you'll be getting the Commercial Montage from me this July. Good news is that I've already been working on it since March and it's already more than a minute long. I'm gonna wait until Indy to post it to take advantage of more of TNT and ESPN's ads.

Good luck on the BAR Exam. Just want your confirmation on this, can I do starting grids? Thanks.

@GTAracer24 Thanks! Sure thing, you can absolutely do your own starting grids if you wish. Either way, I'll still be doing mine those 8 weeks as well.

Brock, I Can't believe it your scaling down the Starting Grids beginning with the Coca-Cola 600, And the 3rd annual commercial montage will be used for the Brickyard 400 Starting Grid, and the following week after the Brickyard 400 the intro music to BSGN will probably be the theme song from Star Search by Joey Carbone, i can't wait for it!

@oaklandfan2k9 Well, you're certainly right about the first two things. I will be using another song you recommended later in the season, so stay tuned for that.
