This scene is one of my all time favorite scenes in movie history. Just him showing that he cares so much about his little sister that he doesn't care about anything else other than avenging her is so amazing. Then his dad basically showing he doesn't care about Tyler or Caroline because he's still emotionally scarred because of Michael is just heartbreaking.

He (Robert Pattison) was later very shocked when he saw his father's PC on his father's desk....and it was obvious that his father thought of his kids EVERY day of his life....including his son who killed himself.
