How about UK? what is the high season and low season in UK? I visited in February, but it was school competition, and the travel guide's planning was poor and I lost all the cool attractions!!! I have to go there again!

I agree the low season is usually better, but he doesn't mention the fact that some attractions are not operational in the low season or are at least no as available. With every tip there is a negative side too.

I'm curious what are the exceedingly few exceptions to go to a particular destination during the high season.

These are great tips to save money. Plus I know for Disney vacations too the off season has shorter lines etc.

Must be a nightmare to travel with this guy. He knows everthing better...He's always asking for upgrades, diffrent hotelrooms, special excursions, diffrent food. He doesn't want to wait for you at securitychecks, baggagehalls, incheck desks, pasport controls. Only travels during the week in low season and always ask at hotels for lost and found items he can use...pffff

Late september is perfect.
No kids. Most people tapped out their vacation time around labor day. And gas prices start to decline after labor day.
