@2006canna I'd say it's useful. Actually, a large portion ( something like 80-90% ) of all fights end up on the ground. If somebody feels they're outweighed in punching/standing strikes, they'll often try and tackle you to the floor. Knowing what to do on the ground is VERY useful. Also, if you're really good at BJJ, you can take somebody down to the floor even if they are a good striker. You MAY eat a punch on the shot, tho. Depends.

@slouttop yeah, also one of his brothers, I think Carlos, has a well documented fight against 3 men that tried to mug him or something in brazil, he threw a Kaushesaun (Ear strike) on one, did a push kick strike...I have no clue how do say it, and on the last guy he did a hip toss and when tha thappens on concrete you get injured bad....

Rest In Peace Mr.Helio Gracie. Im still a young fighter but when I get older, I want to be like you. You've taught me discipline and how to execute. From the day I heard your name, I wanted to be a fighter. Of course my age said otherwise but now at the age of 13 I am able to do what you sent me to do. Thank you Helio, thank you so much.
