One day I'd like to try adding a CP-251 underneath on one side and a black plate on the other for 1/4 inch midi usb & power i'll dress off the KB and tidy things up a bit and pitch & mod wheel maybe even a ribbon controller and find a Moog Sticker for the front of the case. should turn out to be a cool looking portable lil powerhouse.
I saw this little case at a flea market Sunday as the vendor was packing up and i remembered seeing a Moog guitar case that had the same basic look ie leather trim and the same color fabric, so i asked about it and got it for $1 When i got it home i took the wood trim off the Phatty and slightly modded the case a bit and slid it in , perfect fit! its nice and tight i dont need to add screws to secure it in place its very snug like it was made to tolerance to fit that way. Somehow the Little Phatty has a kinda vintage vibe to it now. Fits in better with my other vintage synths.
Sorry about the poor audio quality and of course the lack of skills , I just got the phatty a few days ago and and am still trying to figure it all out. It's a wonderful synth to be sure. If you are thinking about getting a Moog you absolutely can't go wrong with a Phatty.
The little drum machine is a Yamaha MR-10 analog running through a EH Doctor Q and a Boss DD-3. I believe its the only one they made back in 1982
Was is difficult to connect the keyboard to the midi cable? How do you splice it together? I've tried, but the keyboard connection cable seems to have some sort of proprietary plug.

@NightfurMusic I didn't splice it , there was a midi out jack on the keyboard.

Nice case! What did you use for the keyboard? I'we been trying to find a 3-oct mini-key midi keyboard, but only usb available.

@Alpostol Thx! The case is from a old Singer model 301 sewing machine and the keyboard is a old Cybersound Midi keyboard the same keyboard was also marketed under the name Reveal Music Star. They can be found on eBay from time to time.
