This is a video of my 1935 Chevy 2 Door Sedan leaving the shop for the first time under its own power. We are still not finished but Bump (the guy driving) was itching to do a burnout. It has a suidide front suspension, suicide doors, chopped 3 inches, channeled another 2 or 3 inches, airbag suspension, 3 trumpet air horn and custom steering components (connecting rods on steering wheel and pitman arm), 350 motor with camel back heads, 3 duece intake w/ Rochester carbs, 350 trans. and a ford 9 inch w/ 390 gears. Still working on sheet metal and a few other improvements (velocity stacks, etc).

  • The rear-end is a Ford 9". It is the widest one we could find... I think it is out of an old station wagon. It has approx 60" from drum to drum and has the original axles with a 5x5.5" bolt pattern. I still had to get wheels with the maximum backspacing and STILL only BARELY clears the body when lowering it! Hope this helps.

  • Please share what rear-end your using!?! Help a feller out... Cant seem to find one that is wide enough for my '34. Thanks guys!

  • whats the song?

  • What rear end do you have in this Chevy? I have a 35 Chevy master with a Firebird rear end it is too short my wheels do not come outside the body like yours. Love the car!

  • great rat rod looks sweet, but the headlights are to high makes it look like a bug.

  • cool! =D

  • This was a hoot! Your friend, "Bump," what a character, really got a kick out of the big smile on his face at the end.

  • Josh 29-33 Chevy Headlights are 10" inches ROUND.. and the 35' Grill is a V shape like the 34' Fords.. Get a 31' headlight bar and chop it.. go see mine.. -Rob
