I hope you enjoy my ESP vs. Jackson guitar comparison. If you think my videos are helpful, consider making a small donation through my website: http://www.dmometalguitar.com.

This is the first chapter of me comparing the ESP MII guitar with the Jackson King V KV2 guitar. I talk about fret buzz, action, Floyd Rose, truss rod, EMG and Seymour Duncan pickups, intonation, locking nut and many other topics. This is an unbiased review because I paid for both guitars. I don't work for any guitar company and am not affiliated with any guitar magazine.

  • I love both Jackson and ESP. I own a Jackson KV and an ESP ex and i find that they are both beautiful guitars! In my opinion, THIS JACKSON sounds better than this ESP. That KV kicks the ass of THAT PATICULAR ESP. Not in general, just those two models

  • Jackson (randy RHoads) 4 life!!!

but ESP is also very good

  • I had a Jackson DK1 from the 90's and it was probably the best neck I have ever played on!

  • I like Jackson for there looks and sound. I like ESP but Jackson is my favorite brand of guitar.

  • KING FUCKING V!!!

  • why do you took a guitar with a floyd rose and a fix bridge? you need need two guitars with in german it means ''ungefähr'' th same specs dude :D

  • @SoreEyeMusic Strings

  • Ever thought of using Elixir strings? The Polywebs are magic!

  • having a jackson I think they're both really great guitars specially for heavy metal hardcore and stuff like that

btw: question.. how did you get that speed?

  • I have a 1987 Jackson USA Soloist SL1 and a 2009 ESP Eclipse II. Both all white and look fantastic together. My take on the strengths may be different than you'd expect. I find the Jackson with it's longer scale and slightly wider neck to be better for arpeggios and intricate rhythm stuff. The ESP and it's shorter scale is easier for lead playing. I lean heavily toward the ESP most of the time presently due to having installed Variax electronics into it. Unfair advantage that I'm going to fix!

  • @8543kenny this guy is correct
