Noted author, political analyst and professor of sociology at Georgetown University Michael Eric Dyson came to the University of Rochester to deliver the 2012 Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Address. During his time in Rochester, he spoke at length with the media and students about King's legacy. His address to the entire community explored how that legacy has manifest itself in today's political and social landscape, as well as how it applies to popular culture and the generations who have grown up after King's death.
