thunderball meets majestys secret service---and lots of annoying music to try to con redneck americans that this isnt an italian movie.

He was. I find Lazenby much under-rated and that he didn't get the credit he deserved for OHMSS until much later.
Time's been kind on his performance in OHMSS, which I still find to be one of the very best Bond movies.
In 40 years time, I don't think people will be speaking as kindly for Daniel Craig in QUANTUM OF BOLLOCKS (which I hate with a passion).
