(By Anne Dudley)
«My face in thine eye, thine in mine appears,
And true plain hearts do in the faces rest ;
Where can we find two better hemispheres
Without sharp north, without declining west ?
Whatever dies, was not mix'd equally ;
If our two loves be one, or thou and I
Love so alike that none can slacken, none can die.»
Final of the poem 'The Good-Morrow' by John Donne (1572-1631)

  • me again, always on this video...

    my love will be 18 tomorrow...

    he will come back in my country, after 3 years without news, without see him, because he was in a military orphanage.

    i'm so excited, and, also sad !

    because, i don't know if he had changed.

    and if nothing had changed, what will we do ? not the same nationality, not the same religion...

    very hard situation...

    Hope Our Story Will Be Happier than Tristan and Isolde...

  • Anne, you're place in heaven is reserved since you've written this. You're a saint.

  • I walked into the movie theater at 11 years old thinking the movie was going to be dumb. I walked out of the theater crying like a baby. This is by far one of the best movies I've watched. Truly breathtaking!

  • Nothing makes me more sad than impossible love. We watched this is school the other day, everybody loved the movie, even the guys :)

  • Beautiful, beautiful music. Glorious in all its sadness. Cannot leave one untouched!

  • best song off of the soundtrack!!!!

  • @loulie1997 ..alas, thats y love.. can never be.. described. if ever tried, fatefully for the moment, and moment alone.

  • @teddythebenny Love is never a fault, nor an emotion. Love is a feeling. Yes sometimes it can be mistaken for lust but that is a temporary mistake. True love lasts forever, lust fades. And like you have pointed out love has many meanings and definitions but when you really get down to it, love it love and it cannot be trifled with. It can be tried but if it is true love, I believe it will remain in the end.

  • and in whose mortality, a victim of innocence and loss.. for love makes the world go round, for better or worse.. the slaughter, amidst the tears.

  • @loulie1997 ..tis but a word, thoust canst ever be vigilant upon.. love.. is a tainted void.. filled with pragmatism and a empty chasm, whence the eyes of vanity, and ceaseless hubris reside. If ever a language existed, personifying the ideals of human emotions.. in whose gesture lies the inevitable triumph, of faultless obscurity.... man would be lost in their own bygone conclusions of existence. Perhaps, love is a fault, that allows humanity to incessantly become.. mortal.
