Korean War Documentary Part 2 of 9

I made this for my dad to keep his story alive for others. He served with the 1st Cav of the United States Army. He was in the Korea War and also went to Japan.
I want to thank Ken Burns and Tom Hanks for keeping stories of our Vets alive. I got the idea to make this film because of your work.

Enjoying our videos? We hope so! We'd like to bring you more, and you can help! Please donate 25 cents or more to help us cover our creative costs. Our family thanks you!

  • His voice and his face make me think he's a good man.

Dad's interview is a good idea.

  • Your parents are lovely and I'm thankful that you decided to honour your Daddy in this way. Thank him for his service to our country. I'll stop typing and continue watching.

  • ...SO wish we had done this w/our dad....he also was drafted and served US Army/Infantry Korean War....THANKS FOR THIS WONDERFUL Documentary...it is a HUGE reminder of how our father spoke of the experience...

  • Cool idea. I should interview my dad too. Thank you for your service sir.

  • My brother served during the Korean War and told me Korea is the only country that has really appreciated our efforts fighting for them. The Korean Gov't has a gererous Revisit Program for vets and a family member or companion paying for most of the air fare to Korea and all hotels, guided tours, and meals through MHT and KWVA. This year is the 60th anniversary and I plan to accompany my brother in September for this exciting trip. Thank you for this wonderful documentary. Thanks again.

  • some maps in between would be useful (not that is cannot imagine, but just think it would be nice). Great stuff anyway!

  • wish i could listen to my grandfather's experiences. great idea. very generous to share. much appreciated.
