FAQ
1. What's the class schedule?
A: The time is flexible since students will be from all over the world via the Internet. I am thinking to do six lectures each about 1.5 hours. And may product follow-up videos during the class. You can watch the class video at your convenient time and share your art works with the class in the class forum.

2. Can we upload pictures to the classroom?
A: Yes, you can scan or take pictures of your artworks, then either upload them to the class forum to share with the class or email me to see. If you want my critiques, yes, I will give you. After you pay for the class you have access to all the videos from beginning to the end. You make your own schedule to learn and practice. I will be available during the class period checking the class forum and prove critiques. I may also do follow up videos to address common issues.

3. How do I register?
Here is what the students need to do is go to : http://www.artfulgathering.com/ and click on the top tab that says "Registration and Policies." There is paypal or credit card options. It is 5.00 to register for the class. You will be notified by email in June when the class enrollment starts to pay for the tuition.

4. What materials do I need to prepare for the class?
A: Here is a basic Materials List: http://www.blueheronarts.com/article_info.php?articles_id=1

    Hi Henry

For some reason, making a big deal over nothing....."swallowing a camel and straining at a gnat" is the American phrase for it.

  • motivate me** excuse the mistake.

  • Henry, you are absolutely outstanding. You are a true master of Chinese culture and art. Your videos truly inspire and motivate you. Thank you so much. You do such a great job.

  • @SF10888 Just Baidu it and you will see. Key words: "墨锭 + 各种配料有一千种以上" (Inkstick + more than 1000 ingredients).

  • Great video.

  • @SF10888 While I thank you for your input, I have had a number of exchanges with Henry over the past year or so, and I have found every reason to believe he sincerely seeks to provide reliable and honest information.

For me, whether its 3 ingredients in an ink stick or 10000 matters very little compared to the assistance I have received from him that improved my enjoying ink painting.

There are many people who are interested...perhaps your site could offer English course and instruction.

  • @MrHroark We believe reliable and honest info are very important when you are learning other country's cultures and arts. Exagerrated and misleading infomation can waste your money and talent in the long run, even though it might not in the short run.

  • @SF10888 I have absolutely no way of knowing. Why do you ask?
