This video gives a glimpse at a few of the multitude of bird species that can be found in the Upper Klamath Basin of Oregon and California in early April. Virtually all the birds migrating on the Pacific Flyway come through this area in the spring and fall. The largest group of bald eagles in the lower 48 states assembles here during the winter. Many species are residents year-around. The Klamath Basin Birding Trail was created to help visitors find the widest array of bird species possible. This area is truly a bird-watchers paradise. • My husband and I retired to this area arriving here on Nov. 22, 2009. Everyone of the places on here we have gone to and continue to go every 2 weeks or so. It is different each and everytime with different birds there each time. Love watching the nesting Bald Eagles out there as well. Glad the road is blocked off that goes in front of the nest. Thank you for such a beautiful video. I will now send it to relatives and friends to let them see what a beautiful place the Klamath Basin is.

  • Great video, and I wanted to give 5 stars but could not change it - FIVE STARS FOR SURE!
