This is my 7th original uploaded. Lyrics posted below. For some reason the recording sounds off through computer speakers; listen to it through headphones or your stereo if possible. The harmonic qualities are WAY off, to the point of deceptive tonal inference(out of key vocals/chords) when played on computer speakers. I accidently set the distortion effect to cover both channels, vocals and guitar and think this is the problem. I may upload an Unplugged version at a later date.

Lyrics:

1st verse

Sometimes I'm full of doubt, my thoughts get in my way.
Seems like theres always Hell to pay.
Don't know what its all about, but its always the same,
so random it just can't be explained.
Its like 3 miles of bad road that leads away from home.
Its feeling lonely when I'd rather be alone.
I've had too much of not enough. Too much "its all your fault".
Its all just border-line assault.

chorus 1

I'm not gonna take it anymore,
I don't believe that all is fair in love and war,
If we could see the world through a child's eyes,
and learn not to criticize.
We might learn to love one another for who we are.

verse 2

Theres no need to scream and shout, when you complain,
it just multiplies the pain.
Accusations and hurtful words, can't be reclaimed.
You can take them back but the echo still remains.
We always hurt the ones we love the most, its so insane.
We know its wrong but it just can't be contained.
Too much of not enough, too much trying to get along,
I've had too much of being told I'm wrong.

chorus 2

And I'm not gonna take it anymore.
I don't believe that all is fair in love and war.
If we could see the world through a child's eyes,
and learn to not criticize,
We'd learn to love each other for who we are.

Bridge/turnaround

Chorus 3-same as chorus 1

Chorus 4-same as chorus 2

Chorus 5-last half of chorus
ending with "we'd love one another for who we are".

  • Nice lyrics man. im an original musician too. id be better if i had your lyric writing capacity ;)

  • Speak the truth bro!!!

  • @TheNebakanezer Sorry Gary. French translation to English is quite difficult sometimes. I was telling your actual work, not your work on the guitar. For a one year guitarist, you are very very good bro. You cannot see your improvement, but I had exactly the same feeling after one or two years. That's why you will have to be patient.

  • @justangel26 thanks Angel, Happy Easter to you to. Its possible. I'll probably record it over acoustically soon and upload that take.
