and another thing...what they should do is make it like the SO in away where like after a certain distance it cant damage u burst fire or not cuz it honestly has no weakness and by the time your able to wallbounce and evade all the shots ....slapp u just got meleed for the down cuz two bullets got you before :P

Everything else is either sprayable, wide ranged, explosive, or overpowered

It's basically the hard counter to shotguns, thats why people don't like it. Pure and simple. This is not a shotgun only game, where shotguns are the only thing worth using.

All i ever see in this game is ppl bum rushing with doubles and gnashers. Retro is honestly like anti noob gun.

when they made the retro lancer, it was understandable that it had such power. They tried making it balanced at longer range, if people actually shot at each other from distances and bursted the retro it would be balanced, but they forgot about the fact that every1 just rushes in close quarters, thus making it overpower at close ranges

@ImGingerFearMe I do know what I'm talking about. The retro lancer is powerful. It was made to stop the little kids who only wanted to run up with a shotgun. That's not what Gears was made for. I never said an assault rifle would beat a shotgun at CQC. If you read that then I'm sorry that's your fault. The weapon does have too good hip fire but like I said let Epic handle it. Not op just doing it's job
