OMG I remember this commercial, I lived in Richmond,Va and remember seeing this commercial more than i remember the actual movie lol

remember this, I saw it in a movie theatere and during the half way point they had a intermission and the voltron force came out and talked to us and signed posters.
I believe it was some local actors in costume. But at the time it was a really fun and cool experience. I still have those autograph-es, doubt there worth any money but good memories. The tickets were free too, a local Ind tv station ( I think channel 56 out of Boston if i recall) You wrote in and they just gave you a ticket.

I know this might be confusing to follow but as I said earlier the two have nothing to do with another. They were Golion and Dairugger XV in Japan. Then someone decided to name them both Voltron and show both series in America. They made it so the two were connected and had to create backstories like I mentioned below to explain the crossover.

@carnivalofsouls2047 You give VV too much credit. First off this would never happen since the two actually have nothing to do with each other. If you look for information on both, you will find out many interesting facts. Lion Voltron/Golion used to be self aware so he was more than just a robot. Vehicle Voltron was created from Lion Voltron by the Alliance and was an imperfect version. Vehicle Voltron only has 5 mins to operate once formed. LV could just wait 5 mins and attack. Game Over.

@darkprince26- Not to mention, actually in Golion, Haggar turns out to be Zarkon's mother (she must have been the mistress of the previous emperor) and Haggar despises Lotor's human blood. Lotor's maternity in Golion was revealed in episode 30 which who we see as "Allura" there in his dream, is actually his mother and that the dream of Allura in the American version is actually Lotor's mother.

@carnivalofsouls2047- Try Dairugger XV too.

Vehicle voltron was lame...

the two robots are redrawned by toei for the american audience and world events edited in bits from both shows to create fleet of doom.dairugger(vehicle voltron) and golion(lion voltron,go means five in japanese)are totally different in feel and content.but u know they should do the third voltron,albeggas.redo the animation and put some excellent voice work on it to reintroduce voltron to this generation.wouldn't that be awesome?
