Get Applications for Ubuntu / Linux mint

Part 1: ( will post part 2 in couple of days)

This is a short video featuring the website www.getdeb.net and www.playdeb.net. Most applications there are up to date and you get alot more than just the package manager or the default repositories for Ubuntu or Linux mint. I hope you find this useful

To open Software sources from the terminal type this:

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

PLEASE note: if you are using KDE replace gedit with kate, and if you are using XFCE replace gedit with mousepad.

You should try Slackware or GoboLinux.

@CultOfTheGlenda why on earth would i want gobolinux? they messed up teh filesystem on it i read few things about it on teh site. they completely changed teh filesystem and system hierarchy. and slackware is not for me.

yes getdeb and playdeb only use 1 source list. so if you add one you can use both games/ applications :)
