Easier said than done..He is talking about mild hurts like when someone said something hurtful to you. How about if you were raped? Or if your child was killed? How do you forgive something like that? Easier said than done..

@thccb101 I think the key is to speak about events in terms of your emotions rather than name calling / metaphor. I'm really embarrassed by what I did. I hate that I did that. I'm upset by what she said to me. He was livid about what I did. I regret doing that, I wish I hadn't . I must not do that again, I must try to do this...instead. I hate what you did there, please don't do that again. Please take more care. I didn't mean to do that. I shouldn't have done that. I'm annoyed by what they did

hmm when you say react to my conciousness but dont react to their lack of compassion basically what ur saying is dont give them no energy to feed off of??

I like what he is saying it is true, but it feel like this cycle of holding grudges and forgiving is always going, so wouldn't it be more important to address why it happens in the first place?
