@ezgwn if your on win,
go to your camera in the computer, (almost always in "My computer" or "computer") and right click your video file. go to the drop down where it says "Open With". Then, click "Choose Default" There should be a list of programs, if not just browse for more.
That should take care of that...
If its not already, try changing the format to quicktime. (lol I KNOW you don't want that)
but you can always change your defalut program. That should size down the file a bit.

Hello. i have a new cannon t3i camera which i have taken High Def video on, but when its on my computer it automatically goes to quicktime and youtube will not let me upload it. When i try to do it througth the cannon software youtube uploader it says the file. is .02 gig too big. the video is just over 4 minutes and 1.2 gigs. Any idea how i can upload this and watch it properly in windows media for example? Thank you

very usefull :-bd
if I record my game 1280x720 Screen resolution without editing,can i directly upload it to youtune after converting as MP4?
And which Format does not messes up the video quality?
FLV or MP4?
Heartbreakkid995 2 months ago
@Heartbreakkid995 You should be able to do that, yeah. MP4 is decent, I definitely wouldn't recommend uploading an FLV from what I know simply because the compression rate on FLVs tends to be quite high. It's best to upload the highest quality file you can within reason.

@ultislasher1 If it's not letting you upload at all there's probably either something wrong with the file or you're having browser/connection problems. It'd be outside the subject matter of this video either way, though, sorry I'm not more helpful here.
