A federal judge found this video of Sgt Pipkin very "disturbing" and that he had enough evidence to issue a verdict without the case going to jury trial. On February 15, 2012 the City of Sparta settled out of court before it went to a Jury Trial in Federal Court on March 5, 2012. The city wanted part of the settlement to be that the entire incident be kept confidential...Tony said NO WAY! If the Fire & Police Commission did their job, this would have never got this far.

With so many people viewing and posting comments...let me add this. Seperate yourself emotionally. Regardless of how you feel about Tony, good or bad, pretend Tony is just a guy. The video speaks for itself. Yes, he could leave town and then what? Right now, Tony not only fights for himself, he is defending everyone that is or has been treated unfairly...without him fighting for what he believes is right or wrong, who will? I don't see too many others taking a stand like he does.

They should all get fired this goes on a lot in Sparta, WI and a lot of us are sick of being harassed by the police!. They don't give you respect. I've been disrespected by the same officer in this video he's nothing close to a respectable officer. They don't treat you with respect and most of the time assume your lying and are an utter joke to deal with and harass anyone that gives them lip or has the balls to stand up to em.

I use to live in Sparta and The Sparta Police do nothing but harass the citizens they abuse their power and do profile people. They do harass and do that to Angelini. They do lie. They've pulled my mom over for turning to fast at lights or stopping too close to people which she wasn't. They are nothing but a joke a precinct that does nothing but abuse their power and do more by disturbing the police. They have let criminals go hell the old police chief was one of the biggest coke dealers in town

Another reason why I hate police. They serve a good purpose and I'm sure there are some great cops out there but ever since high school I've noticed any...little....thing...you...­do...wrong...is severly punished.

Frankly on my record I have all of 1 speeding ticket in the last 10 years but being out at the bars, just around town, hanging out with friends...I've realized most cops are scumbags.
