Did I see 1970 carved into Texas stadium as a national title?! Really? I'm kinda embarrassed for you.

Ah, what might have been. Navy and QB Roger Staubach in 1963. Love the old highlights; especially seeing the obsolescent thigh/hip pads that no self-respecting speedster would be caught dead in in the modern game.
Love me some college football!

That would be cool if notre dame, navy, or an independent team got a bid in the cotton bowl if they were bowl eligible in an upcoming season.

@pressmymenu Longhorns live 'rent free' in their heads lol!

the sad part about the 71 cotton bowl was Texas as rewarded the title before the game despite losing to notre dame 24-11 Ohio st was also given part of the title as well as Nebraska all three teams had a lose yet Toledo university finshed undefeated and was not crowned

Hmmmm according to the movie "the express" the last touchdown was the 87 yd pass...
Ahhh that clip would have SO much better if CBS would have used Lindsey Nelson's call of the games instead of having Jim Nance do a voiceover....
