  • Probably my favorite song off Spectres. Something about cruising around with the windows down in the summer night by yourself listening to this tune. Reminds me of my youth.

  • My Fathers Place-I was at this show.

  • made sure the DJ played this song at my wedding

  • I must edit a previous statement..i was at a show at My Father's Place in 1979 were BOC showcased The Mirror's Album...This show from 1983, in my opinion, is when Rick Downey, replacement for Albert Bouchard(no one can replace him) became one with Joe and provide a percussion that at moments remind one of Albert...magical gig..

  • The greatness of the song itself, the fact that they'd never played it before and the distant, dated audio track render this historic, and epic in the extreme.

  • "I guess we know where Jane's Addiction stole their style from"....?????

Are you serious? I think you fried your brain if you really think that.

  • One of my favorite BOC songs. Hell, one of my favorite songs, period! I don't think I've seen them play this one live but I did get to see another favorite off of Spectres at a club show once: "The Golden Age Of Leather."

  • New Age Metal, like Yanni's tunes it grips my heart in a dark and mysterious way

  • Didnt get to go to this show.Eppy's Place and Mirrors was showcased. Great show! Next night it was the Bottom Line in Manhattan, which saw Ted Nugent guest on Roadhouse Blues. This version of I Love The Night might be the best Rick Downey played drums. Wonderfully mystic, dark, comfortable.....eternal..

  • Check out my cover version of I love the night if ya get a chance, it's stripped down vocals & a 12 string
