@rauldeva There may be certain specific movements that have slightly exaggerated sine wave but most movements at a high level are not intended to have dramatic sine wave motion.
Currently the sine wave has been accentuated in certain motions in some patterns and the sine wave must performed well in order to create power. It is far from undetectable.
General Choi calls it the sine wave. When it is taught (at least in America, USTF) it is very exaggerated and is refined to very crisp and almost undetectable motion. This kid's sine wave seems very color belt like to me and not refined like a 2nd dan's should be but I guess some instructors put less emphasis on it.
way too much bouncing. they say its cos of ITF training but I do ITF and we were taught to keep it subtle and not overdo the bouncing. too much and you end up losing power.
