Zappa Plays Zappa, Effenaar Eindhoven, May 23 2009 Phase 1

Because I forgot my pen to write down the setlist, I shot a little bit of every song (and a little banter) that was played at the Zappa Plays Zappa concert in De Effenaar, Eindhoven, in 2009. Except for Imaginary Diseases, which followed Purple Lagoon and which I overlooked, and except for Duodenum and Peaches En Regalia, which followed Inca Roads. I recorded those in full, you can find them elsewhere among my uploaded vids!

The light in De Effenaar all came from the back. It created havoc with my camera: all my pics messed up because flash wasn't allowed. Combined with the data compressing, this creates a very, very dark video. Sorry. But the sound is still great!
