No, This is an original russian song: Дорогой длинною ("Dorogoi dlinnoyu"), written by Boris Fomin and by the poet Konstantin Podrevskii. American musician Gene Raskin wrote the English version. Paul McCartney produced the Mary Hopkin version in 1968.
