@holyholyholy2007 Wouldn't it be wonderful if cities all across the world heeded what you said and slavery, poverty, oppression, abuse could all be fought because people took it upon ourselves to care a little more about others?

i had never heard of blue tree before i went to YC and the first time i heard them i thaught u no they are good but i don't think that they are amazing or anything. then the second day of YC they did this song and a couple other ones, it was the most intense worship sessions i have ever been involved in. it was so amazing. now i can't stop listening to them, they are absolutly amazing, the story behind this song is also amazing.
God Bless

i also guess that people are now less reluctant to give their money away in a recession because people put their security into money. However, we as Christians shouldn't, we should put our trust in Jesus. He says " don't store your treasures up on earth" which is money and possesions which we wont need, but "store up your treasures in heaven" and we can do this by giving, which is an act of worship. We need to give to the needy, because we are god's hands and feet :) so basically, give and pray!

well i believe god put enough resources on this planet for everyone to share and to be happy. But Man's greed, in particular, the greed of the western country ( i include myself) have taken too much and left others with too little. This means we need to give back to the world what our greed has taken. Obviously, this cannot be achieved straight away, but if everyone started to give a bit extra to charity or help out with missionary work, then slavery could be ended.
