The Great Litany is a wonderful part of our Book of Common Prayer. At St. Barnabas, we chanted the Great Litany on the First Sunday of Lent at the beginning of our Eucharist. • I play back this multiple times daily. Who is the officiant? She does a magnificent litany.

    Please never take it down.

  • Thank you for your kind words!

  • Anyone know where I can get a recording of those bells? I would like to use them in my home.

  • Thank you. The bells are being rung by choristers using a technique we call 'free ring.'

  • She does an Excellan t Job with this.

  • Wish I had discovered this earlier. This year, I have been praying the Great Litany each weekday during Lent, on the advice of my Spiritual Director. I would have been richer if I had been praying along with this.

  • Massachusetts

  • beautiful

  • I agree it is lovely. At Lent I think the sung great Litany, which we also have in the Church of Sweden is a must.

  • The Cantor sings it with excellence. I really enjoyed listening :)

  • Are you in NYC?
