Dug out my dad's old Powell Peralty board from im thinking the late 70's-early 80's.
Cleaning it up, giving it a new set of wheels, bearings and probably some new trucks and will work just like new as my first skateboard

you fail, utterly totally fail...
You just insulted one of the greatest skateboard companies that ever existed. They weren't a table or furniture company, they were a very successful skate company in the late '70's, '80's, and early '90's. They sponsored famous skaters like Rodney Mullen, Steve Cabellero, and Tony Hawk.
And it was run by the legendary Stacy Peralta.
