Damn this is bad.. luckily she has improved a lot since then. She sounds so much better live now. But she seriously shouldnt sing the old songs anymore, thats my opinion. Because they were just not made for her...she really sucks in singing them and if they keep playing the old songs, people will keep comparing ALL the fucking time, even after 20 years, because we have heard these songs sung by the best... Never will we forget the unique, epic and magical sound of Nightwish with Tarja.... =)

@YamiMegami 1. Yes, but your original stated was that they have different tessituras, so I sticked to it: No, both are soprano, same tessitura.

2. What you means is how they sound and it's 'coz technique; which loooot of people have stated previously.

Well, there are songs which fit better Tarja and others which fit Anette better (Like Nemo, which sounds terrible in Tarja's live voice). However, everyone have their own taste, which is respectable AND is another subject.
