Mark Matthews is renowned for the impressive range of techniques he uses to produce complex geometric patterns and realistic interpretations of animal pelts within glass spheres. For his marbles, Matthews draws heavily from historical influences that span the 3,500-year history of glassmaking. The film, by Academy and Emmy award-winning documentary filmmaker Robin Lehman, was made at The Studio of The Corning Museum of Glass.

ah hell if mr mathew's is half an artist he'll grin at the joy a child took in his craft and chalk it up to an excuse to make some more. i know i would. hell, i like breaking my messups as much as making the good ones!

  • wooww can he make some dragon balls?? lol

  • Holy fuck. I had some of those balls at home as a kid. I broke them. I will never ever do something like that again. They were art, not toys )=

  • if i find some thing like this i will buy it !

  • Just added a Mark Matthews' masterpiece in my latest video. The marble video also includes the works of Ro Purser, Kevin O'Grady, Travis Weber, Gateson Recko, Daniel Salazar, John Kobuki, Milon Townsend, and Mike Gong.
