One of the bigger interplanetary spectacles of the 50s, and one of the last films shot in 3-strip Technicolor, Universal's "Supreme Excitement of Our Time" brought out the sense of wonder in a generation of cold war tykes while scaring them half to death with the unlikely but cool "Mutants": "similar to the insect life on your own planet, but larger of course."

  • Horror novel about two boys who find something strange on the beach one night see video book trailer

  • I think this movie is one of the best science fiction films ever it's atmospheric and Pulpy. Damn I'm gonna watch it NOW!!! Other great nostalgic 50's Sci Fi movies are Destination Moon,War of the Worlds,Invaders From Mars,Conquest of Space,Forbidden Planet,First Spaceship on Venus. All classics all in colour.

  • Cool movie

  • Just one correction concerning the legendary Mr. Dante's exceptional commentary to this bona fide classic of the genre...

The film was the top bill, but paired with "Abbott & Costello Meet The Mummy" (their last for universal-International) as the second feature.:)

Thanks for this SUPREME EXCITEMENT of an upload!

    Pax,

    Max
