It took me at least an hour to find my way back to the car cause there were no markers in the parking lot of this "monster rock festival." haha at least i made it to the car, one guy we were waiting for spent the night in front of the speedway like a homeless person :-p

Does anyone remember the bands in the parking lot playing out of the back of U Haul style rental trucks. Or does anyone remember the first night the guys that stole a port o potty and put it in the back of their truck and drove through the parking lot with cops chasing them? And a minute later the truck with the port o potty slowly going back escorted by the cops, and then another few minutes later the truck hauling ass again with the port o potty in the other direction and the cops after them?

I was there as well. :) Fun times. No Doubt, Bush, Wallflowers and Collective Soul were some of the better performers there that night. I also remember rather liking Soak and thought Paula Cole did a decent job as well. At least from what I can remember. Least favorite was Jewel. She came out complaining about the heat. It was near the end of June, damn near July and she's wearing a black leather jacket. C'mon. It had already been 95+ degrees on most days since mid-May. xD
