This looks like a lot of fun, I just picked one of these bikes up. Plan to try it in the snow as soon as I find a rear tire:/ @ anonops62: Nice life. The guy likely didn't reach 5mph, he's obviously ridden a bike before, and there's a half foot of snow to land on. I think crossing the street is more dangerous. Better wear a helmet.

If theres anything we can learn from this video, its that we all look cool when we dont where a helmet.

lol i took a 250 two stroke 3 wheeler and made it into one of thos boy it goes almost as fast as my cr500!
-
5hp i thought it was 10 when i rode one but still amazing machine especially the 1986

he looks like a kid those machines can bring back very good memories

are they truly easier to ride in the snow ?
I assumed they stopped making these because they had turning and falling and tire catching problems similar to 3-Wheelers
-
i just did that with my 87-bw80 and it didnt really work out with a bare tire and a stuck throttle haha

LMAO.. There's nothing like 6" inches of fresh powder, a flat of beer, and a BW80.. :)
You have to love these little bikes..

just picked up one, cant wait for the snow :) i'm out in Colorado
thanks for sharing!
I should sell mine, cause I'm way too big for it. But, I'd feel bad if I had a foot of fresh snow sitting there and no BW80.
2 tips. Inflate the tires way too much. More spinning = more fun. And, open up the air box.
