The headlines, Qantas planes are back in the skies tonight two days after CEO Alan Joyce grounded the entire fleet.

The dispute has energised Federal Parliament today with both sides trading accusations and insults about what should have been done to resolve the issue earlier.

Meanwhile, thousands of passengers around the world are still stranded while Qantas deals with the backlog created by grounding its planes.

It's also estimated the cost to the economy of the Qantas transport chaos is $250-million a day and one of industries worst-affected is tourism.

In other news, the names of the three Queensland soldiers who were killed on Saturday in Afghanistan have been released.
