Pan is the Greek god of nature and shepherds etc. He is known for fertility because he is associated with spring, not because he is some sex fiend. I've never heard of him being a figure in witchcraft. Also, Tumnus is a faun and in literature have been known to be good or bad--a conscious choice that Mr. Tumnus seems to make in the book/film. C.S. Lewis created these characters to be biblical allusions. I doubt he would be referencing pagan or Greek gods.
