Capcom is on a ROLL. Dead Rising in 2006, Lost Planet in 2007, Devil May Cry 4 in 2008, and now Street Fighter IV AND Resident Evil 5 in 2009!! And all these games use the ubiquitous MT Framework engine with obvious enhancements over the years. I love this game engine. In-game cut scenes often look like prerendered ones. And the fact that Capcom has successfully ported over all their MT games (except for Dead Rising...) from the consoles to the PC is a great achievement. Resident Evil 5 looks amazing, although I'm not a huge fan of the claustrophobic third person view. Nonetheless, it will be a fun game upon its release on the PC in September, 2009.
Since this is a variable benchmark (props to Capcom once again for including this), no two run throughs are the same. Instead of comparing performance between different PCs and hardware, the benchmark gives a realistic expectation of your FPS when actually playing. It's also amusing to see how the AI reacts to the horde of zombies despite having unlimited health and ammo. The fixed benchmark, unfortunately, is underwhelmly lame.
This variable benchmark (rather than the fixed one) was recorded at 1280x720 resolution with FRAPS at 30 fps (as you can tell in the video) with all max settings including an overkill of C16xQ antialiasing. WIthout recording, the game runs with an average FPS of 60ish. Specs for my PC are on the video and my profile page.
I have my hopes up for Lost Planet 2 in 2010. xD
Resident evil 4 was badass, so im sure this will be to

Looking forward to the PC version. I enjoyed Resi 5 a whole lot on PS3 and 360 after not being a big fan of the series up 'til number 5.
I got an average of 98fps in 1280x1024 with every setting at 'high' with 8xAA so hopefully when I get a better monitor it will still play at a constant 60fps.
