lots of important info. great vid man, when I saw the midi bit I was annoyed with PT since in logic you can just arm your track and you're ready to go, but when you went to the operations tab i was like "motherfucker! I really needed this info!!!" glad you posted gonna spend the rest of the day watching these

One day I'm recording fine, then the next day, I'm experiencing low input on my mic. It had to happen when I was configuring my speakers in an effort to use my Oxygen 25 midi. Help, somebody please.

Excellent! Had problems configuring my new MIDI keyboard in the MIDI Studio set-up of PRo Tools but this has helped me sort it out. Thanks!! :)

Subscribed. Thanks for this. Ok, heres my issue. I'm mostly hardware and I'm just getting into software. I have the Motif XS7, Macbook Pro (OS Lion), M-Audio Mobile Pre, Native Instruments Maschine Mikro and Roland SPD-30 Octapad. Running Protools SE. I can record audio, but i can't figure out how to Map the I/O's and Transport functions. Basically getting the tempo and what not between my motif and protools to sync up. Ugh! HELP?

@puckdiv Sounds like a driver issue, try switching to ASIO
