Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow

Longtime friends Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow were seated side by side and obviously enjoying each other's company at The Oak Room in NYC during the dinner party for the premiere of Valentino: The Last Emperor. Gwyneth told Madonna shes planning to stay in America for six months, says a mutual friend. Madonnas delighted. Since she moved back to New York, Madonna has been working on getting Gwyneth to leave the UK for good.


Madonnas 25-year tenure with Warner Music will come to an end with a new greatest hits compilation due out in September, the Material Girls management told People. Madonna does have plans to go into the studio to record a few new songs for this album, says Madonnas publicist Liz Rosenberg. Were hoping to have a greatest hits package come out in September. Were all very excited about it.
