Why does it say permission denied when i try to root my phone? It says "sending 149 zerglings" a couple of times then it starts saying permission denied

Its probably your firewall, zergrush is considered as a virus so it keeps it from downloading with the rest

Go to the android forums LG marquee all things root. Look for thread for framaroot.

apparently the reason why this didnt work for some or all of us is because if the phone had been updated to vz9 that update screws everyone into not being able to to be rooted cause boost and sprint would not want us to enjoy our phones and just get stuck with useless shit that we never use but yet charge us 300 for a phone that you can not enjoy hope this helps out cause from everything i have read in the forums there is a way to do it. there is alot of write ups in phandroid and xda sites

i followed all the steps and rooting still wasn't successful. is anything i'm missing or any reason why it's not working? i have the LG Marquee
