` these are the days [2011]

This year has by far been one of the most amazing years I've experienced. But, with downsides of course.
Accomplishments:
-Rode vegas first time bareback & bridless
-Gained a stronger bond and understanding with my horse
-Competed in our first show, after I had thought her heaves wouldn't be able to let her do that anymore
-Took her into my town's parade by herself. She was amazing.
-Rode her to my house in town, haha got lots of funny stares and waving people.
-Learnt to sit better at her trot bareback
-Spent more time with her than I ever had before in the past years since she lives closer to me now.
-Have a second horse now, kind of. He's a paint gelding named Chico. His owner is a mid aged lady that is NEVER out(hasn't visited since summer) and hasn't ridden him in over a year. She has something wrong with her knee. I'm the only one that works with him now. Fortunately I got him to ride while my mare is off. He's a sweetheart.

Setbacks:
-Fell off when she was all spunky on a super windy day, had a bad scratch to half the side of my face that lasted a month -.- and knocked the wind out of me
-She went lame and is now been off since october. Won't be getting ridden til approx summer.
-Possibly no more speed events in the future, and who knows what else.

There are plenty more I could name but I could go on forever(plus its 3 in the morning... -.-),
So, this is my 2011 in a 1-2 minute video.
It may not look like much but hell yeah, it was a tough one.
The summer was probably the best one I've ever had.

So cheers to 2012 subbers, I drink to that!

Beautiful! Well hopefully 2012 will be good to you and that Vegas heals better then expected and will be 100% sound, even for speed events!

Ashlynn this is amazing!!! by far your best video! 2011 was a great year and I'm glad we got the chance to trail ride together, those were some of my favorite moments! <3
