A great ad except for one thing: Abraham Lincoln was NOT a champion of liberty. He was the father of the War of Northern Oppression (the so called "civil war"). He did all kinds of hideous things to the American people.

I agree that Abraham Lincoln was not a champion of liberty. However the quote is no less true and his image is readily recognized by the "average joe". (which is who the ad was designed to appeal to.)
